Before discovering her passion for research and writing, she served as a Business Manager for an engineering firm, where she handled office administration, payroll, invoicing, and project coordination. Managing multiple sites simultaneously, often under unpredictable and high-pressure conditions, she oversaw three to ten contractors per site while maintaining meticulous hourly records across overlapping projects. This experience honed her discipline, precision, and attention to detail, complemented by advanced Excel and workflow-management skills.

Her natural curiosity and love for understanding complexity led her to complete a BiSocSci (Honours) degree in Anthropology. She thrives on exploring how systems work and enjoys translating complex, technical, or abstract information into clear, accessible content. She also has a talent for automating and optimising processes within documents and spreadsheets and never hesitates to figure something out when it’s new.
